Vision
Vision is the ability to see a bigger and better future version of yourself and transform that imaginary image into reality over time. How far you can envision determines how high you can soar. Those who are unable to break limits and remain stuck in unfulfillment often praise their failed, misguided imaginations. They neglect to protect their “third eye”—the mind’s eye, which is the gateway to inner realms and higher consciousness—from life’s distractions and excesses.
Physical blindness does not limit achievement if one has a healthy mind capable of envisioning a clear and precise future. Take inspiration from remarkable individuals like Helen Keller, who, despite being deaf and blind, learned to read, write, and speak, and advocated for education for the blind. Marla Runyan, a blind athlete, competed in the Olympics and achieved great success. Dr. Abraham Nemeth, a blind mathematician, invented the Nemeth Braille Code for Mathematics and Science Notation. These individuals harnessed the power of vision to turn their imaginations into reality.
Without vision, you are merely chasing shadows. Don’t just hustle with a vague idea; write down your vision. A written vision is more reliable than relying solely on memory. Be specific and detailed in your vision. Avoid pitfalls like overconfidence, overzealousness, bad company, a polluted environment, excuses, loose talk, procrastination, quick expectations, distractions, and a lack of persistence and consistency. These can derail your efforts and make your visions unattainable.
Even if your vision seems to be unfolding well, do not celebrate prematurely. Counting your chickens before they hatch can lead to disappointment. Focus not just on the end result but also on the approach, as the process of transformation can be challenging. Fulfillment comes through diligence; patiently watch as your detailed vision becomes reality.
