Creativity is the ability to use imagination to create something new and valuable. It begins in the mind; you cannot manifest what you do not understand, see, or feel. An empty mind leads to failed realities.

Stages of Creativity

1. Preparation: The first step in creativity is preparation. Expose your mind to healthy and beneficial information. You cannot create from a blank slate. Read, research, and study topics that align with and support your vision. Gather materials and knowledge that broaden your understanding. Seek out healthy exposures—travel if necessary—to gain new perspectives and experiences.

2. Incubation: During this phase, you incubate your ideas. This involves encouraging, fostering, nurturing, and nourishing them. Give your mind time to process and develop these thoughts without rushing to conclusions. Let your ideas grow and mature, allowing for the integration of different perspectives and insights.

3. Illumination: This is the stage where ideas come to light. It involves gaining a deeper understanding of the process and verifying the stages of your creative journey. Ponder and reevaluate your concepts, employing critical thinking to refine them. Consider your market audience, approach, and presentation. Assess the persuasiveness and potential impact of your idea. Will it yield the desired results? In bringing an idea to fruition, it’s essential to be constructive and strategic.

Creativity is not just about having a brilliant idea; it’s about meticulously developing it through these stages. It’s about combining knowledge, experience, and intuition to create something meaningful and impactful.
